Forex ECN Brokers

An ECN (Electronic Communications Network) Broker is essentially a pass-through broker that provides currency quotes to retail clients, based on liquidity and offers from Market Maker Dealers and Banks. The currency pairs will have floating spreads and there is usually a commission charged for the service. A lot of people like trading with an ECN because of the tighter floating spreads and because an ECN will not trade against you. It is also possible to see the volume and liquidity being provided, so you can trade between the spreads and be your own market maker.
